Tameka joined Hall Equities Group in 2022 as a Property Accountant. She has 7 years of experience beginning her career as a Regional Accountant for a real estate investment trust. During this time, she handled a portfolio of 35 apartment communities with responsibilities ranging from identifying capital expenditures to reviewing property monthly general ledgers, management agreements, and leases. Additionally, her duties were preparing monthly operating statements and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, handling business license renewals, and sales and use tax filings.

Currently, Tameka is now the Assistant Portfolio Manager for retail properties and her overall responsibilities include accounting and recording general ledger transactions, processing accounts payable and receivables, and account reconciliation of bank and general ledgers. Additionally, completing analyses of financial statements, and ensuring that financial packages are timely and accurate according to generally accepted auditing principles and company standards.
