Ross Dress for Less to Open at Sunset Shopping Center in Suisun City

Suisun City, CA — California-based real estate investor and developer Hall Equities Group is pleased to announce that Ross Dress for Less will open a new 18,043-square-foot store at Sunset Shopping Center in Suisun City, California. The new store will occupy the former Rite Aid location and is scheduled to open on July 17, 2026, further strengthening the center’s position as a premier neighborhood shopping destination.

Sunset Shopping Center is an 86,088-square-foot neighborhood shopping center located on Sunset Avenue along Highway 12 in Suisun City. Anchored by Ross Dress for Less and In-Shape Health Clubs, the center serves the surrounding communities with a diverse mix of retail, dining, fitness, and service-oriented businesses. The property benefits from its highly visible location, strong traffic counts, and close proximity to Travis Air Force Base, home to more than 14,000 military and civilian employees and approximately 4,250 on-base residents.

Ross Dress for Less is one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers, offering customers exceptional values on brand-name apparel, footwear, accessories, beauty products, home fashions, and everyday essentials. The addition of Ross expands the shopping opportunities available to local residents while introducing one of the country’s most recognized value retailers to the Suisun City market.

The announcement also coincides with In-Shape Health Clubs recent multi-year commitment to the center, underscoring the continued investment and momentum at Sunset Shopping Center.   • Entitlements and amendments to the General Plan for Walnut Creek were secured in 1995 in record time. The project's design and construction was completed on time in less than 12 months.
  • Developed by Hall Equities Group for the Joint Genome Institute (and still the current tenant), this facility is where some of the world's most talented geneticists have decoded as much as 60% of the genetic map of human DNA.

  • The site was sub-divided to split off a separate 3.2-acre parcel, which was entitled by Hall Equities Group for a 45,000 SF modern medical office and surgery center.
  • Hall Equities Group sold the building to Muir Orthopaedic Group after completing construction.
